Full Certification - This is the initial scuba course that all divers start with, and the one we do mostly. Academics are done by CD Rom at your home (PADI) or online (SDI). Certifications from IANTD and NAUI also given. The 'wet' portion is done over 3 mornings, around your schedule, and consists of pool and 4-5 lake, spring or ocean dives. |

Can be combined with other Classes - Nitrox is a tool to let you dive longer and safer. The dives (2) can be included with the Advanced Open Water dives or other specialty courses Computer Nitrox by SDI. The SDI course is just a few hours, and does not require any diving. It does require you own a nitrox computer, be open water certified, and be 15 years old or older. |

Open Water Diver PADI
First Aid - Emergency First Response First
Aid & Rescue Diver Specialties
Nitrox Oxygen First Aid for Scuba Diving Injuries ( DAN O2 Provider ) The course is designed
to train and educate the general diving public in the techniques of using
oxygen as first aid for a suspected dive injury. In addition, this course
will introduce novice divers to the fundamentals of recognizing diving
injury warning signs, response and management. This program also provides
an excellent opportunity for experienced divers and instructors to
continue their education. Boat Diver (PADI & SDI) During the Boat Diver program you'll go on two open water dives, which must be, you got it, conducted from a boat. (Both dives may be conducted in one day.) It's a good idea, but not required, that you enroll in this program to learn the techniques and procedures for diving from different types of boats (inflatable boats, hard-hulled day boats, cabin cruisers, live-aboards, sailboats, etc.). That's a good thing; the more boats you dive from, the more diving you to do! Click here to order online Drift Diver (PADI & SDI) During
your PADI Drift Diver program, you’ll go on two open water dives (which
may be conducted in one day). We highly recommended that you enroll in
this program to exposed yourself to the techniques and procedures for
drift diving.
CPROX (SDI) This course is a Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation & emergency Oxygen administration combined into one program. It is designed to teach divers the proper techniques to safely administer CPR and O2 in emergency situations. Drysuit (SDI) Bought your new drysuit? Learn to use it and lots of
nice techniques to make it a very useful tool. During
your program you'll go on three open water dives. You'll learn to prepare
night dive activities and develop your knowledge and techniques for night
diving.
Underwater Naturalist (PADI) Your
PADI Underwater Naturalist program will include two open water dives,
which may be conducted in one day, which will introduce you to different
aquatic life and include an overview of responsible human interactions
with aquatic life. Some of the topic covered are:
Underwater Navigator (PADI & SDI) During your PADI Underwater Navigator program you'll go on three open water dives familiarizing yourself with the skills, knowledge, planning, organization, procedures, techniques, problems, hazards and enjoyment of underwater navigation. You learn:
Underwater Photographer (PADI & SDI) During your PADI Underwater Photographer program you'll go on two open water dives, which may be conducted in one day. This is where you'll put in to practice the tips and techniques you learned from your instructor and the PADI Underwater Photographer Manual and video. Wreck Diver (Prerequisite: Advanced Open Water or higher) (PADI & SDI) During
your PADI Wreck Diver program you'll go on four open water dives, which
may be conducted over at least two days. This is where you'll put in to
practice the information you gained from listening to your instructor and
from the PADI Wreck Diving Manual and video. Information contained in your
program includes:
Deep Diver (Prerequisite: Advanced Open Water or higher) (PADI & SDI) The program includes four open water dives, which are conducted over at least two days. The minimum depth for the deep dives is between 18 to 30 meters/60 to 100 feet, with no dive exceeding 40 meters/130 feet. All your dives will be conducted within the no-decompression limits, with deeper dives conducted first. During your program, you'll cover the knowledge, skills and techniques needed to dive deep. The following is included in the PADI Deep Diver program:
Peak Performance Buoyancy (PADI) To take advantage of PADI's Peak Performance Buoyancy (PPB) program, you'll need to be a PADI Open Water Diver, Junior Open Water Diver or equivalent and be at least 12 years old. Project Aware (PADI) If you'd like to take the AWARE
-- Fish Identification Diver program, you'll need at least your PADI Open Water Diver (Junior Open Water Diver or equivalent) certification and be at least 12 years old. Solo (SDI) One of SDI’s most popular courses, the solo diver program teaches experienced recreational divers how to safely dive independently of a dive buddy. The course stresses proper dive planning and accident prevention and in the benefits, hazards, and proper procedures for diving solo. Pony bottle required (or rent), minimum size 13 cuft. VIP (SDI)
During the SDI Visual Inspection Procedures course
you will learn to promote safety in the care and maintenance of high-pressure
scuba cylinders by way of your SDI Instructor and a comprehensive Visual
Inspection Procedures manual. One of the goals is to raise the
consciousness of the industry to the need to meet and exceed the minimum
standards established by local Regulations. Another goal is to train
inspectors in the proper handling, filling, and inspection techniques including
the identification of the various defective conditions that can lead to cylinder
rejection or condemnation.
Master
Scuba Diver
(PADI) To put yourself on top and reach the PADI Master Scuba Diver level, you need to be at least 12 years of age and complete PADI Open Water Diver or equivalent, PADI Advanced Open Water Diver, PADI Rescue Diver, and any
five PADI Specialty Diver certifications. Or, if you are a PADI Divemaster, or PADI Assistant Instructor, complete any five PADI Specialty Diver ratings.

Thinking of getting certified for an upcoming vacation, but don't have the time to put into a regular diver course? Now there's a quick and easy program designed especially for you! This is your chance to slap on some fins, strap on a mask and experience an intense adventure in a short amount of time. The PADI Scuba Diver program is a pre-entry level certification that is perfect for vacationers or people who only plan to dive a couple times a year. During the course of the program you will use the PADI Open Water Diver Manual and Video or multimedia CD-ROM. Credit earned in this program can be used toward the Open Water Diver certification. The Open Water Diver course uses the same materials as the Scuba Diver course, so already you are on your way to continuing further dive adventures.
